Sufganiyot or Jewish doughnuts that are commonly eaten on Hanukkah to commemorate the miracle of the oil burning for eight days even though there was just enough for one day. I just like that I have an excuse to eat jelly doughnuts and latkes. I am a terrible Jew.
You can buy both the macarons and Sufganiyot in-store, but I like to pre-order and pick up the next day through Alon’s handy online ordering system. I use it often when I’m in need of last minute catering. The sandwiches by the stick (the tuna version in particular) are divine.
