Broderick, of Savory Exposure, paid a visit during yesterday’s opening night and snapped some lovely photos he was kind enough to share with me. I’ll get over there eventually, but check out his pictures and impressions in the meantime by clicking this linky. And please post your experiences if you went last night or head over there soon.

The caramelized onion/Emmantal (we added mushrooms) is going to become an addiction for me, I think. It was the perfect foil for my glass of Sangiovese. We also had the margherita, which was beautiful to look at and even more fun to eat. I was really curious about the salads but skipped this so I could have doughnuts. Good grief they are delicious! This place is going to be dangerous. The service was great although the staff don’t know the wine menu very well yet – that will correct itself in time. I feel very lucky to have been able to eat there before the hordes descend on their doors.
Where is it? Is called Varasano’s Pizzeria?
not too shabby… not too shabby. I’m gonna keep saying it though… I like Fritti better (with the new pizza dude). at least in the margherita offering.
