His (Buttermilk fried chicken, whipped potatoes, bourbon gravy and green beans):

Mine (Biscuits and gravy w/poached eggs):

Breakfast and Brunch are my favorite meals of the day. Atlanta has some decent brunch spots. The Ritz Carlton and Watershed are my favorites. We went to go check out South City Kitchen’s brunch offerings. I adore the space it is. Very appropriate for the type of cuisine. I ordered the biscuits with sausage and gravy. It came with two eggs any style which I ordered poached. The overall quality of the dish was good. Perfectly poached eggs, nice gravy but the biscuits could have been a bit flakier. Not sure they used enough fat. My boyfriend’s fried chicken was yummy. The bourbon gravy was a nice and unexpected touch. Great creamed potatoes. And that chicken was crispy and oh-so-tender. I would totally order this when I go back which I will.
