So, this happened.
Yup. I am a Mom. For those of you who have been with me for the past 7 (!) years, you’ve seen me go from singleton to married lady/step mom and now this. I can honestly say it is the best and most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me. It is also the craziest thing that has ever happened to me, which means my schedule is no longer my own. As a result, I have stepped down as the lead editor of Eater Atlanta, but will stay on as a contributing editor. You may also see me pop up in other publications around town once we settle into this new routine. Someone posted on my BG Facebook page the other day asking if I was still alive. Yes, I am. However, for now, most of my time is devoted to her while I can be. Can you blame me? Don’t fret, Lovelies. Old Bliss may not be the same old Bliss, but she has not abandoned this blog, my “first baby” as Creative Loafing called it when they interviewed me the other day. I’m still here and more hungry than ever. Stay tuned.
