Scenes from a taco crawl

On the road again and this time we are in Mexico…Rivieria Maya/Playa Del Carmen to be exact. This place holds a special place in my heart because my Mother’s father lived here for a long time before he passed and her sister has spent most of her life here as an artist. It is a short flight from Atlanta, the beaches are lovely and there is so much good Mexican food here. What more could you ask for? The first night we went on an al pastor taco crawl. It was sweltering but the heat is inconsequential when al pastor is on the horizon. I think a plate of al pastor tacos would probably be my last meal on earth.
