Ribot: Milan
RESTAURANT REVIEW:
Meat is a specialty at this Tuscan restaurant located near Milan’s racetrack. We dined in the garden which is strewn with lights and full of trees. The weather was perfect and it felt like we were eating with 200 our of closet friends in someone’s backyard. That said, the food was just okay. As I said before, meat is what you are supposed to order here but all of our entrees were less than stellar. There were some standouts though. I really enjoyed the ‘antipasto fantasia” my table shared. It is a massive ensemble packed with fresh fruit, cheese, a celeraic salad, and variety of smoked meats. The dessert platter (they bring without asking) was a mouthwatering assortment of seasonal fruits. Our waiter was a disaster but the atmosphere compensated for his performance. There is a good wine list and complimentary prosecco and grappa are provided. I would go back because this place has potential.
