Noms: Souper Jenny’s lobster rolls

You know you are a glutton when you eat a lobster roll for breakfast. That’s just what I did at the Peachtree Road Farmers’ Market a couple of weekends ago. Souper Jenny was selling them herself. I don’t remember how much it cost, but I do remember it was scrumptious. The lobster meat was super fresh, there was just enough mayo, and I adored the pop of fresh tarragon. The bun was soft and fresh, but it could have been a tad softer. She should use those amazing hot dog buns H&F Bread Co. sells at the same market. That would be a match made in heaven.

I think they’re $10. I’ve had them a couple of times at various street food festivals and they are worth every penny!

I follow her on Twitter, and last week she mentioned being in Castlewood that night with the truck and lobster rolls. I had no idea where that was, so I tweeted back asking where exactly the truck would be because I was ready to buy!

    No one response.

I really hope she understands that Twitter for a business is just as important as a phone call. It’s the second time I’ve tweeted a question about location or pricing and did not get a response.

Oh my…. I have been seeing Jenny tweet about these but I never get back to Buckhead from work in Duluth before she closes. For a place that is right around the corner I don’t get in there nearly as much as I would like. Hopefully the rising food cart furor will give me more opportunities!

Jerusalum Bakery at 585 Franklin Rd in Marietta (below Tasty China Restaurant) has just opened an adjoining restaurant. First try was wonderful. The bakery next door is always delightful. I’ll be back.

Sounds awesome! I love their other restaurant. I’ll have to get there ASAP.

What does “noms” mean. Is it some sort of acronym lik ITP? or some new slang with which I am not conversant?

Ohhhh kay. I guess I’m totally out of it but delicious seems like a perfectly good word without using something that sounds like an acronym or baby talk. Probably just me though
