Nom of the week: The kitchen sink salad at Community Q

Big ups to my friend, John Kessler, for recommending this awesome salad at Community Q. $6.50 buys you a large stainless steel bowl of local greens, veggies (beets, potatoes, mushrooms, and more), and eggs in a vinegary dressing. Add a little meat (around 3 ounces) on the side for just $3. I think I have a new favorite lunch.

I am SO glad you gave a shout-out to this salad. I am the pickiest salad eater in town–I’d rather go without and eat only meat than a bad salad, and most of them are. These salads at Community BBQ are flawless; beautiful lettuce, which is the heart of a salad, gorgeous, fresh, often unusual vegetables, a choice of delicious, unfatty BBQ meat on top. The best main dish salad I’ve ever had.

Actually since I got time, in honor of WAP, let me do a quick thread of Black women from the past who were very raunchy.

Put headphones on.

Ready, lovelies?

Let's get it.
