Nobu: London

RESTAURANT REVIEW:
I have eaten at the Malibu and Las Vegas locations but, was never very impressed. They both just seemed to be venues for trendy people looking to feel hip and glamorous. That being said, I entered the London outpost with low expectations. The minimalist space takes up a full floor of the Metropolitan hotel in Hyde Park. My table opted to stay away from sushi and have some of their signature dishes. You don’t go to Nobu for sushi…The fusion dishes are the thing to order. We had Sea Urchin tempura, Abalone, Squid pasta, Otoro kama, and a variety of other dishes. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and plating. This location was less about the scene and more about the service and food.
