Nibbles: Duck club at Dogwood

Met a friend for lunch at the semi-new Dogwood Restaurant last week. Very nice space and very close to many local businesses so great for lunch if you work downtown. I had a great sandwich: the “duck club,” thinly sliced duck on raisin-pecan bread with bacon, lettuce, etc. I would definitely order it again. It was supposed to come with a celery root salad but they were out so I got fries. Tres delish.

How is that supposed to go into one’s mouth?

Other than the size , it does look good.

Squish it down of course. I actually took the middle piece of bread out because it was excessive and that made it very easy to eat.

Look interesting. Never had a duck sandwich. Actually not a big fan of duck, too gamey. But looking forward to trying.

    Victoria,
This was not gamey at all. Maybe because of how thinly they sliced it? I love duck though. It certainly was a fun sandwich I have never seen on a menu in Atlanta and recommend it if you love bacon and duck.
    Thanks,
    Jennifer
