Mas de Mexico

Hola everyone. I am sorry for the sporadic posts over the past week but I have been taking a mini-breather from the old blog and losing myself in some books and my iPod. It has been a nice break. I am in Buenos Aires right now and it is absolutely lovely. Such a civilized city and it is great to be somewhere chilly instead of muggy old ATL. Here are a few images from my Mexico stopover I forgot to post. Gotta run but stay tuned for my Argentina post. Besitos, Bliss

PERFECT – I am going to BA in November and was hoping you would go scout out some foodie delights – We are thinking about going to La Cabrera, La Brigada, Thymus, and Defensa al Sur. The first two may be a little mainstream for you but well recommended on Chowhound and Trip Advisor. You might like La Vineria de Gualterio Bolivar – the chef cooks up molecular treats ala Blais. We are also spending a week in Mendoza for wineries, rafting and trekking in the Andes. I want a FULL report!

    Brad,

We were only in BA for a couple of nights on the way to Bariloche where we are now. We ate mostly Italian –save one steak dinner for my Dad’s bday–and spent some time with some friends at their house so don’t know how helpful my stay will be…

BUT I can tell you I have heard great things about Cabrera. I am going to do a single post for my entire stay in Argentina when I am home.

lovin the mexico photos, the ceviche looks great.

Brad- GO to La Cabrera – I had a great experience there. also be sure to save some time to go over for a day trip to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay, just a short ferry trip away.
