IL Salumaio: Milan

RESTAURANT REVIEW:
This is an over-rated and over-priced place most people who consider themselves “hip” stop at after a long morning of shopping on Via Montenapoleone. The lack of service and atmosphere made it a miserable experience. I don’t know if it was an off-day or what. We sat outside on the patio after waiting for 20 minutes in the blistering heat. The waiter kept forgetting everything…10 minutes for crushed red pepper? Give me a break. I had the linguine a vongole (see picture). It was good but I’ve had better in my own house. They do, however, have an ajoining food store which has some pretty amazing fresh pastas, meats, cheese, etc. Bottom line: you can get better food and service at Paper Moon which is down the street.

Actually since I got time, in honor of WAP, let me do a quick thread of Black women from the past who were very raunchy.

Put headphones on.

Ready, lovelies?

Let's get it.
