Food Find: La Rosa Italian cookies

I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it before, but Moon is an Italian from Long Island (aka Strong Island). He also has a crazy bad sweet tooth and frequently brings back food finds of his own from around Atlanta–there’s a reason we work so well. He found these Italian-American cookies from Fresh Market a while back and we’ve been hooked ever since. He says they remind him of the ones he used to get while growing up in New York.
I prefer savory snacks most of the time, but these cookies tempt me with the mix of textures. My favorites are the sandwich cookies with the jam in the center. I’m a fan of the jam.
You can buy the cookies at any Fresh Market location–I’m really becoming a fan of this place–and retail for around $6.99 per pound (a box has one pound). Grab some for your favorite cookie monster the next time you are nearby.

Found your cookies at Fresh Market in Louisiana. You made my day. Great memories from growing up. I live in Dallas, Tx. We have central market and whole foods. Do you distribute in Texas? Please let me know where I can buy them.
