Delfina Restaurant: San Francisco
RESTAURANT REVIEW:
Stainless steel tables, modern finishes and an open kitchen create an intimate and hip setting. Servers come and go without being noticed. The food is impeccable and the ultra-fresh ingredients focus on seasonality. Try the incredibly tender grilled calamari, which is served on a bed of white bean salad or one of their amazing pasta dishes. The roast chicken is underwhelming and needs to be re-worked. However, the rest of the menu is perfectly portioned poetry. The wine list is diverse and reasonably priced. There is some seating at the bar for walk-ins, but reservations are a must-have if you’d like an actual table. Street parking is difficult since it is smack-dab in the middle of a mission neighborhood. However, they have added a parking lot a block and a half away for a charge of $8.
