C’om Vietnamese Grill: Atlanta

posted on September 9, 2005 at 9:05 pm
RESTAURANT REVIEW:
I had read a few reviews about this place and was pleasantly surprised to find they were all right. The restaurant’s decor is simple and a bit too smoky from the grill. However, the food was fresh and flavorful. We started with the fresh basil rolls that had insanely delicious pieces of grilled beef tucked in between the other goodies. I don’t remember the names of the dishes but we had one broken rice and pork dish. But the other dish which had pan fried rice noodle squares, grilled beef and an assortment of lettuce, cilantro. mint, and basil to wrap the noodle and beef in. That was really divine. I would recommend this place to any one looking for value and supreme Vietnamese cookery. Get there early as it fills up fast.

yes, I have to say that the room was annoyingly smokey both times I’ve been there and the service was a little bizarre. My wife got her main dish a full 10 minutes before mine came.

But I will nonetheless go back again because I thought the food was incredible. I really miss the old Bien Thuy on Buford Hwy – C’om is a much different kind of place with the small menu and the nicer decor. It’s the best Vietnamese in Atlanta that I currently know of. If you find another good one please post about it too!

I have yet to try it but Ricesticks on Roswell Rd. is a favorite of many Atlantans.

i was at the opening of the dunwoody location, which is located right next door to the dunwoody tavern, we set up their Point of sale systems from hotsaucepos.com, I must say the food was delicious, reservations were flowing into that place from 2pm on the 17th.
