China Delight: Atlanta

RESTAURANT REVIEW:
Had heard from a few people that China Delight had pretty good dim-sum. We always go to Royal China because that has been the only real option since the Oriental Pearl closed down. My boyfriend also likes their curry squid which you can’t find anywhere else. We made the trek over last Sunday and it was only half-full at 11:30. The variety is better than most places but I wasn’t wowed. The sticky rice was burned and the shrimp and chive dumplings were oilier than I am used to. The chicken feet were gummy and not well done. I ordered some noodles on the recommendation of a Chinese patron at the next table. They were bathed in oil and burned. The veggies were freezing cold and not crisp at all. I think it would def. better for dinner. They have a pretty extensive menu and it is a nice and new space. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…dim-sum options are still very limited in this town.
