Au Pied de Cochon: Atlanta

RESTAURANT REVIEW:

A good French brasserie is a necessity in my restaurant rotation. When I moved back from San Francisco, I heard that Au Pied de Cochon (a Paris-based restaurant) had opened an Atlanta location. I have been about 4 times and have had a good meal every time. The pig’s foot/trotter is the restaurant’s specialty but it is not for the faint of heart. They have an impressive variety of shellfish that they fly in every day. I like to order the poached egg and asparagus salad, escargot, steak tartar, or roast chicken. The menu is extensive and you shouldn’t have a hard time finding something good to eat. They have outdoor dining but the view is of Peachtree Road. They also private dining areas anyone can reserve. They are open 24 hours a day.

RESTAURANT INFORMATION:

Location: 3315 Peachtree Rd (Intercontinental Hotel Buckhead)
