RESTAURANT REVIEW:
I went to Aria last night for dinner. They had opened when I was living in SF. But, I thought I would try it out because I had always heard many good things about it. I got a table very easily for at 6 for a reservation at 7. I was a bit worried but the menu looked promising. We ordered the porcini ravioli which had some sort of short-rib ragout smothered on top. That was amazing. I had an endive, arugula, and blue cheese which was lightly dressed with a lemon and oil vinaigrette. Very refreshing. We got the sautéed wolf fish on a bed of white corn and black truffle risotto. Divine. My date had the duck breast flavored with Indian spices. Surprising and very tasty. It was a bit pricey. But the stellar service, clean design, quality ingredients, and preparation make it worth every penny.
